I recently stumbled upon another wonderful little Etsy shop. It's all about cookies,
Cakebox Cookies. What a treat. She has cookies for all occasions and in my opinion any occasion deserves a cookie. I had trouble selecting one favorite and decided to feature a sampling...
Birthday Cupcake Favors - One DozenKelli started her sugar cookie company in 2003 after a particularly disastrous attempt at making cut-out cookies. Determined to make a great sugar cookie, she rolled up her sleeves and began to learn everything she could about sugar cookies. She read books, perused the Internet, tested recipes and practiced, practiced, practiced. She never considered starting a business, "I just didn't like getting beat in the kitchen by some rolled out dough and colored icing," she said!
Over time, she perfected her recipe (taste is everything) and her icing techniques. Pretty soon people were asking for her cookies for their weddings, showers and parties. The rest as they say, is history.
And that is how Cakebox Cookies started.
